Spicy Ramen noodles recipe

Its a spicy Ramen noodles recipe with sriracha hot sauce and ready in just 18-20 minutes !

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp sriracha hot sause
  • 1&1/5 small onion diced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp celery salt
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 cup scallions chopped
  • 3 packages ramen noodles
  • 1 teaspoom rice vinegar (only if you like tang)
  • 1 tbsp soy sause
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 poached eggs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the sriracha and sesame oil in a large stockpot and bring to a simmer over average-heat. Then add the chopped onion and tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the garlic,ginger and seasonings : cook for 3 minutes or until fragrant. Then add two (2) cups of water and then transfer the mixture to a blender and pulse until smooth. Now return the mixture to the pot and add the broth.
  2. Bring it to a simmer : add vinegar and soy sauce (if need) and simmer for 9-10 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning as you needed
  3. Now add the Ramen noodles to the broth and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the noodles get softened. Remove pan from heat, put soup into bowl and top with scallions,cilantro and eggs (if using). Enjoy the noodles !

Recipe Notes

I advise you to making noodles and broth separately. Drain the noodles and pat them to dry, then stir them right before re-heating and serving them. It will consume your time but help to avoid the noodles become soggy and soaking up all of the broth.
