Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 piece large head cauliflower sliced into 4 pieces
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional for taste only
  • 1 pinch salt optional
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground (optional) for taste only

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven up to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F). Then line up a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Place the cauliflower steaks on baking sheet.

  3. Whisk black pepper,salt,red pepper flakes,garlic,lemon juice and olive oil. Brush 1/2 (0.5) of the olive oil mixture over the top side of cauliflower steaks.

  4. Roast the cauliflower steak in a preheat oven up to 15-17 minutes. Then turn gently over each steak and brush with olive oil mixture. 

  5. Continue roasting until golden and tender, 17-20 minutes are enough.
