Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper finely diced
  • 1/4 cup onion finely sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp ginger root fresh and chopped
  • 1/4 cup drinking water pure
  • 1/2(0.5) tbsp chili paste
  • 7 tbsp sugar granulated
  • 11/2 tbsp honey refined
  • 1/2(0.5) tbsp rice wine
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 quart oil for fring purpose
  • 12 ounces flank steak sliced thinly
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch

Instructions

  1. At 190 degrees C (375 degrees F) heat oil in deep fryer.

  2. Then combine pepper and salt together gently in a mixing bowl. Toss the slices of steak in the cornstarch mixture and coat properly.

  3. Deep fry the coated steak slices until they give golden brown color. Check to make sure they cooked completely and then remove from oil and set aside.

  4. Then combine honey,rice wine,rice vinegar and soy sauce, in another mixing bowl. Add ginger,water,chili paste and sugar. Mix properly and set aside.

  5. Now heat a deep frying pan over medium heat. Then add 1 tbsp of oil and quickly salute the red pepper and onion for half minute (30 seconds). Then add the sauce mixture and also cook it for half minute (30 seconds). Finally, add the strips of fried steak and toss well to heat through them and coat with the sauce.

  6. Your Crispy Beef is ready to eat and serve.
